RESTON, September 3, 2009–On Thursday, September 24, 2009, love expressed in a fine art and poetry exhibit, will debut at the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum in Washington, D.C., with an opening reception from 6 – 8 pm.  The “Touch Me Here” juried art exhibit runs from September 24 through January 15, 2010.  The Sewall-Belmont House and Museum was the home of Alice Paul, founder of National Women’s Party and Equal Rights Amendment.  The site is located at 144 Constitution Avenue, N.E., adjacent to the Hart Senate Office Building and within a short walk from Union Station.

Norman Parish, past president of the Art Dealers Association of Greater Washington and owner of Parish Gallery, will make opening remarks at the reception. The event is free and the public  is invited but pre-registration is requested.  Call 703-251-4819 or visit www.TouchMeHere.net.

Photographic artist and exhibit organizer, Robin McDougal, founder and president of e-GLAM, reports that exhibit jurists are Rose O’Donnell, director of The Art League Gallery in Alexandria; and Marga Fripp, an art marketing coach, journalist, entrepreneur and president of Empowered Women International, a non-profit organization; and Norman Parish.
