Three weeks ago I did a photo shoot for Glenn Douglas Packard. I was astonished seeing the email he sent me saying that my work is great and he wanted me to be the photographer for his new season. Besides being a great person, Glenn is also a cast member for VH1’s reality show, Brooke Knows Best (New season airs June 7th, 2009 on VH1); “he has worked with some of the biggest acts in entertainment including Pink, Destiny’s Child, Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado, Whitney Houston, Usher and Liza Minelli. He was even honored with an Emmy nomination for his artistic direction on Michael Jackson’s 30th Anniversary Celebration at Madison Square Garden.”

Working with Glenn was fantastic. He has been in front of camera numerous of times and his experience made the shooting process much easier, allowing me to capture great images. I want to give a special thank you to the DT. Team’s – Photography Division for assisting me and making the photo shoot session go smoothly, thank you Julia Hammerer, Magnhild ‘Taylor’ Sundland and Tia Hafidah.

We started setting up the lights for the shoot about 4:15pm and the shoot lasted two hours. I used one Softbox with the Gemini 500Pro both products Bowens; I also used a low light kit. I always advise you take music to your photo shoots; it helps set the energy level. I am pleased with the outcome of the photographs and I hope that you enjoy them as well.
