Early 2010 I saw my cousin hustling with his music. After the mixtape tracks leaked and I took a listen…let’s just say take a listen to the tracks yourself so your mouth can drop the way mine did; I would say the hottest rapper coming out of Florida right now and if you know me you know I am a straight to the point brutal critic about my music.

Phenom – “a young man who sought out to become his own brand” asked me if I could photograph his album cover to help in with his brand image. Ofc I took the opportunity to be apart of this project. Working along with Phenom and the model was easy. To photograph I used the Nikon D300’s, a SB-800 and a SB-900 strobe to capture the image then tweaked using Adobe’s Lightroom and Photoshop. The cover illustrates an artist on his grind taking a pit stop to make bigger moves, focused with no distractions. The Mixtape has 25 crazy tracks and if you click the little thumbnail version of the cover it will automatically download for free. BTW: I am happy this mixtape is out now because it will be giving these new rappers some inspiration to stretch their vocab and paint pictures with words. I was starting to wonder where the real rappers were at..we got one more watch out Drake!
