About The Blog & The Photographer.

“I’m a blessed/lucky 22 year old photographer. Early, as a teenager I discovered my love for photography, stuck with it and now I produce professional images. I have a mind filled with skill/ creative talent; a camera in my hands is all I have and I make the best out of it.”

Dwayne started the blog in 2007. Photography For You by DwayneTucker.com shares information and inspiration  for photographers at all levels. Dwayne believes being inspired/motivated is key to the growth and success of an artist. Dwayne assisted his favorite photographer and idol, photographer Scott Kelby and he also assisted Hasselblad’s Master, photographer Joao Carlos.

Dwayne fell in love with photography during my high-school years at St-Andrews School (the international school of the Bahamas). He graduated as president of the school’s yearbook club and photographed the school’s sports events etc.

Eleventh grade Dwayne fell in love with advertising design. After his CR. year of high-school he moved onto the Savannah College of Art and Design to study advertising. At SCAD, photography professor Timothy Keating pushed Dwayne and showed him the proper directions for a journey as a photographer. Dwayne transferred to Miami International University of Art and Design to further study advertising. He’s currently based in Miami, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas.

Dwayne’s goal is to be remembered as someone whom had great passion for photography, developed skills for his talent and shared his knowledge to inspire.
